My research focuses on the transitions from atypical-to-standard-employment and on how individual and country-level characteristics affect these transitions before and during the Great recession in Europe. I am analysing the transitions from temporary and part-time jobs into permanent and full-time positions across European countries and across smaller geographical areas to identify differences and similarities between regions of different countries and between regions of the same country.
I am using the EU-SILC longitudinal applying sequence and cluster analysis, fixed effects logit models and multilevel modelling. I mainly use Stata for my analyses, and I will use MLwiN for the multilevel models.
Research Interests: labour market transitions, school-to-work transitions, occupational policies, employment and social inclusion, vocational education.
