Introduction

AQMEN offer a programme of training and events in statistical methods and data analytics that are suitable for individuals from business and industry to attend. We are also able to work directly with organisations to develop and deliver bespoke training and consultancy.

Our main programme of training and events is designed for individuals from all sectors (academic, public, private and third) to attend and places can be booked via this website.

UK Industrial Strategy funding

AQMEN has been funded by the UK government through the Economic and Social Research Council to explore how universities can help to add skills to the existing workforce and better train graduates, the employees of the future.

We are currently undertaking a consultation and mapping exercise across business and industry to explore the challenges faced in upskilling existing workforces and recruiting new graduates in data science.  Following completion of this exercise a series of events will take place.  These events will provide some training for organisations who have registered an interest in the project.  They will also provide opportunity for businesses to contribute to discussions about how training might be developed for graduates of the future, in order to better prepare them for industry.
